Salone Del Mobile, Milan 2019 – Part 1

This was my third time at Salone del Mobile International Furniture Fair in Milan, Italy. I love this fair, it gives me so much inspiration every year. Unfortunately the photos I took are not the best this year, but I still have some favourits I can share with you. It is worth to get ideas from the decoration too which is used in the interiors. I would like to highlight some topics: terra cotta color and living coral colors were everywhere, and they were also combined together. Terrazzo pattern is still very trendy, not only on tiles, but on furniture, on decoration and also on fabrics it is used as pattern. Jungle and leaf patterns are still very trendy, they were used on wall decorations, posters, wallpapers. Also a lot of potted flowers, plants, palms were used as every year, but not only real plants, also fake ones. This year Euroluce also took place, which is International Lighting exhibition with plenty of lamps. There will be 2 more posts about the Fair, I hope I can inspire you with all these beautiful furniture and lamps.

Rooms by Zanotta were one of my favourites this year, they were decorated with lighted huge posters with town views and in front of these window-frames were placed like a real window.
Zanotta used colored scotch-tapes to fix pictures on the wall. I saw this at other companies too, so this is trendy at the moment to avoid picture frames.
These console tables at Zanotta have a pattern like a checked exercise book, pictures on the wall are cool too.

I love Tonin Casa’s wall decors, here you can see mirrors and shelves combined together.
