This is the furniture part of the exhibition, which was enormous, but I show you all my favourites. As this was an international exhibition, not only Italian companies were there, also companies from other countries introduced themselves. Although I have to admit that I’m “in love” with Italian furniture as they are not only design pieces but they all have something unique in them. I’ll show not only Italians but everthing I liked. Salone del Mobile, Milan 2017 – Part 1
This international Furnishing Accessories exhibition took place in Milan combined with International Lighting Exhibition. There were categories among the furniture like design, luxury, classic and workspace. Each company designs one or more rooms with their furniture and accessories where you can walk in and touch the fabrics, materials, you can sit down and enjoy them. Originally I wanted to write one post about the exhibition, but there is so much to show you about this amazing exhibition that I’m writing 2 posts, one about lighting and one about furniture. I took a lot of photos, collected a lot of ideas, but unfortunately I cannot upload all the pics, but I hope you’ll enjoy my favourits :-). Star Wars interiors
Dear Star Wars fans, this time I collected some pics for you about Star Wars designed interiors. Everything is possible with a little creativity, like designing adult rooms, kids’ rooms, dining rooms, cinema rooms or accessories. There are 2 fans in my home, so this inspired me to collect some pics about this topic :-).
Special stair designs
Lately I found so amazing photos about stair design, that I have to share some pics with you. Non of them can be called boring, they are very creative designs, some of them I would call ‘art’ :-). Here we go:
Green interiors and exteriors
I can’t wait to see that nature turns to green outside, this reminded me that Pantone’s colour in 2017 is green (Greenery 15-0343). So I collected some pics in green, which is one of my favourite colours. Green is colour of the nature and hope, watching it helps you to feel relaxed, inspires creativity and helps to concentrate.
Geometrical shapes
Geometrical shapes are very trendy in interior design lately, they turn up everywhere: as tiles, wall painting or wallpaper, as furniture. I won’t talk anymore, just show a few examples :-).
Blue walls
I find a lot of picture of interiors with blue walls. I like it a lot, so I pin those I like regularly on Pinterest, trusting that at some point someone will let me design one like this :-). There is one thing you need to pay attention that in small room dark colours...
